Why Choose Kenai Fjords Sea Treks?

+ PREMIUM KENAI FJORDS NATIONAL PARK TOUR - enjoy incredible access to marine wildlife and tidewater glaciers and a flexible itinerary allowing us to make the most of the day!

+ 24 PASSENGERS OR LESS - enjoy a personalized experience with ample ship space and plenty of rail viewing spots for passengers. What better way to explore the remote splendor of Kenai Fjords National Park?

+ MORE TIME SPENT AT ALASKA TIDEWATER GLACIERS - we'll take extra time to wait for glacial calving to occur - there's no rush to keep to a fast-paced schedule.

+ STUNNING WILDLIFE VIEWING - have your camera ready as we search for humpback whales, Steller sea lions, puffins, sea otters, bald eagles, harbor seals, and unusual bird species. Plenty of time for whale watching!

+ 40' CATAMARAN LANDING CRAFT - featuring a comfortable cabin, walk around deck, large windows, stable platform to reduce sea sickness, and swift cruising catamaran hull that allows more quality time with wildlife and glaciers and less time en route - and it's a great whale watching platform!

+ UNIQUE ALASKA SEA AND LAND DAY TOUR - we offer a unique, in-depth exploration of Alaska's spectacular coastline. Join us for a day on the seacoast!

+ LEARN THE STORY BEHIND THE ALASKA SIGHTS AND WILDLIFE - our onboard naturalist shares insights without constant "bus tour" style narration. Hear about the marine and land wildlife and how glaciers, earthquakes and ocean storms have shaped Resurrection Bay and Kenai Fjords National Park.

Our 40-foot, twin engined catamaran, the Weather or Knot, also provides daily water taxi services from Resurrection Bay in Seward, Alaska to Kenai Fjords National Park for sea kayakers on a set schedule.* This allows for a 3-4 hour exploration in Aialik Bay strictly devoted to our Kenai Fjords Sea Trek passengers in between the drop off and pick up of kayakers. During this time, Sea Trekkers have the boat to themselves! On most trips, we visit two tidewater glaciers, Aialik Glacier and Holgate Glacier. This trip gives us unprecedented time to be spent with the area's glaciers and marine wildlife because, unlike most Kenai Fjords National Park tours, we're in no rush to complete the trip in a short timeframe. The extended time on the water and the flexible schedule allow us to make the most of Alaska wildlife sightings and stunning glacier action.
